42 more HDP and DBP politicians jailed

NEWS BUEROU – 42  more  Kurdish politicians were jailed in Urfa and İstanbul after twin blasts attack in Beşiktaş.

65 in 250 politicians of   Democratic Regions Party (DBP) and Peoples’ Democratic Patrty (HDP) who have been detained right after twin attacks in Beşiktaş-İstanbul were taken into the court. Three in 24 on December 24, 13 in 39 on January 3 and 18 in 42 on January 4 were jailed on charges of “ propaganda for illegal organization” and “being member of illegal organization”.

Last group with 65 Kurdish politicians were taken into the court after 24 days detention. After prosecutor’s questioned 30 politicians were released under the judicial control. Other left 35 politicians were jailed on charges of “ being member of illegal organization”. 

Politicians were taken to Urfa T Type Prison.

 Also 13 politicians who have been detained after twin attacks in Istanbul were taken into the court after 24 days. Seven politicians were jailed after the court decision.
