DBP vice co-chair : Trustees' activities aim to forgetting the collective memory

DİYARBAKIR –  62 municipality are administrated by appointed trustee while DBP co-chair Sebahat Tuncel, 74 co-mayors and 4.130 politicians are imprisoned. DBP vice co-chair Mehmet Arslan said “ the decisions made by trustee are deemed invalid. Collective memory is erased and its values are ignored.”

 4.130 of Democratic Region Partym(DBP) politiciains included  co-chair Sebahat Tuncel, members,executives and co-mayors are imprisoned since one year.


Also 62 trustees were appointed to the elected DBP municipalities. The first activities of the appointed trustee was brought down the  multiple language sign of municipalities, removed the statues, closed the cultural association which are belonging to municipality. DBP vice co-chair said “ these implementations are unacceptable and we will stand against these.”

“ Justice and Development Party (AKP) wants to seize the municipalities which it couldn’t won on local election. But the reel purpose is that to destroying the Kurds’ gains. Because all trustees’ first activity was closing the cultural centers, women centers. Trustees’ activities base on forgotten the collective memory” said Arslan.
