Appointed trustee hires AKP members in the place of discharged employees

MERSİN – DİSK Genel-iş Mersin branch chair Kemal Göksoy claimed that appointed trustee to Akdeniz Municipality in Mersin launched an investigation about 500 employees of municipality. “AKP members will be hired in the place of discharged workers” said Göksoy.


Hamdi Bilge Aktaş had been appointed to Akdeniz Municipality as trustee after co-mayors unseated. Trustee Aktaş began to fire the employees up. It was claimed that an investigation was launched on 500 employees. Trustee also start to hired members of AKP (Justice and Development Party) in the place of discharged employees. Confederation of Progressive Trade Unions of Turkey (DİSK) branch chair Kemal Göksoy “the claims I heard is annoying. However, we will protect the discharged employees’ right” said Göktaş.
