DİYARBAKIR – Imprisoned HDP group deputy chairperson and İmralı Committee member İdris Baluken gave statement to Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecution’s Office and said “The place I should be now is TBMM where constitutional amendment proposal is negotiated and voted.”




Peoples’ Democratic Party Group Deputy Chairperson and İmralı Committee member İdris Baluken gave statement against the claim on “Defamation to the state’s officials” by SEGBİS ( Sound and Image Information System) from Kandıra F Type Prision.




Baluken “ According to the constitution , I am not only represent people of Diyarbakır as parliamentarian, but also whole Turkey population. Thereby, I am doing my duty in the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM). The claim against me is should be seen as activity I do in the TBMM. I also think that to jailing me is violation of constitution because of my immunity is continuing. Because removing immunity is violation of the constitution” said.
