Journalists Dayan and Çiçekçi : We will start to hunger strike

MERSİN – Imprisoned Demokratik Ulus Newspaper former publisher Arafat Dayan and Hamza Çiçekçi announced that they will start to hunger strike due to staying single cells.

Demokratik Ulus Newspaper (Democratic Nation) former publisher Arafat Dayan is kept in a single cell in Silifke Prision where there is no politic prisoners since seven months he is jailed. Hamza Çiçekçi also is kept single cell since 43 days he is jailed.

Dayan said “if they still keep us in single cell until Monday, I and Hamza Çiçekçi will start to hunger strike” on the phone calling to his family.Dayan also called the people outside to solidarity.
