SİİRT – It was reported that violations of right is raised in Siirt E Type prison after decelerated State of Emergency. Despite its 500 prisoner capacity, over a thousand prisoners are kept in the prison.

Prisoners shared some details about prison conditions via lawyers and their families. According to prisoners, 20 prisoners are living in 12 capacity cell , 32 are living in 18 capacity.Also sport activities , workshops and conversation right were seized by authorities under name of the State of Emergency.

Most of letters sent and received are seized or given later. Also the books sent from outside weren’t given to prisoners by warden.
