Democratic Regions Party (DBP) co-chair Kamuran Yüksek evaluated recent diplomacy on Kurdish unity.


" Kurds are very organized compared to past. They improved in Syria and made importants allies. They are the one who defeated DAİŞ ( Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant). Whole world sees this reality. United States and Russia want to call to Kurds the table of Astana with Asad regime. But Turkey,İran and Asad Regime want to block to Kurdish attendence in Astana. If Kurds will not invited Astana negotiation will not reach to success. Beside that Kurds may have conciliation role in the negotiation.




Yüksek " Kurdish Unity is on agende for long time. But before it was just argued on idea. Now we are arguing on the real ground. If unity realized, there will be a greater gain. Kurds have chance to gain which they couldn't over past century.For example Rojava. Why are Kurds not acting same in Rojava? Despite the many different politic views there should be representatives of all views in Rojava. But Iraq Kurdistan Region Government is not possitive eneugh on this. But this view is not benefit of anyone.


We have been in Federal Kurdistan Region last month to attend in a conference and we met with number of Kurdish Parties, specially KDP ( Kurdistan Democratic Party ). We aim to minimalize the existing conflict ground. We are working on it" said.
